Stage 2: Ulvik – Geilo, 123,8 km
Ulvik is once again hosting the start of a Norwegian stage race, since they hosted the start of stage three of Tour des Fjords in 2016.
From the start in Ulvik, the riders go east, where they challenge the first Coop points sprint in Eidfjord after 31,8 km. Just after the points sprint, the riders start going uphill until the only mountain sprint of the day, which is on the climb up to Dyranut after 67,6 km. From here, the is one more Coop points sprint in Haugastøl after 98,8 km. until the riders goes into the final part of the stage.
The stage ends in Geilo, where the former World Champion, Mads Pedersen, won stage 3 of Tour of Norway in 2016.
