His achievements include victories in the Monuments Milano\u2013Sanremo and the Tour of Flanders, four stage wins in the Tour de France, as well as medals from both the World Championships and the Olympics. In addition, he has claimed numerous classics and stage victories, cementing his position as one of the most decorated Norwegian riders of all time. In the Tour of Norway and Tour des Fjords (the race\u2019s former name), he has collected an impressive 22 stage wins, along with one overall victory in the Tour of Norway and two in the Tour des Fjords.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"952\" data-end=\"1231\">\u201cAlexander Kristoff has given us some of Norway\u2019s greatest sporting moments \u2013 now he will join us in creating the next ones. We are confident that his experience and stature will help elevate our projects to new heights,\u201d says Tour of Norway\u2019s general manager, Roy Hegreberg.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1233\" data-end=\"1539\">In his new role, Kristoff will serve as a front figure and ambassador for the Tour of Norway, with a particular focus on generating excitement around the race both nationally and internationally. He will also be an important resource in inspiring young cyclists and enhancing the visibility of the event.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1541\" data-end=\"1673\">Kristoff himself is looking forward to taking on the new challenge after he ends his career as an active rider at the end of 2025:<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1675\" data-end=\"2075\">\u201cI\u2019m really looking forward to taking on the role as ambassador for the Tour of Norway. It\u2019s a race that has meant a lot to my career, and for me, the highlights are probably all the stage wins I\u2019ve achieved in Stavanger city center, as well as the overall victory in 2019. It\u2019s a role I\u2019m excited about, and I\u2019m both proud and happy to continue being a part of the Tour of Norway going forward!\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2077\" data-end=\"2284\">With Kristoff on board, the Tour of Norway further strengthens its strong position in the cycling world.
